How to shoot product photography and more tips and tricks

Product photography is super interesting branch in photography. If there’s anything that I’ve learned while taking these shots that is the big role that framing and placement take part in this type of shoots. Of course it’s important in any kind, but in product photography it is king! It is especially important when you have a lot of objects to play with. I really enjoyed all kinds of lighting that I’ve used during these shots. I’ve used auxilary lighting, natural lighting and modifiers. There are so many different techiniques to take product shots that I was really surprized that people come up with these ideas on their own.

If you ever want to get good ideas on product photography, you can just visit any of the big retailers or online shops like https://www.amazon.com or https://www.apple.com. These two are great example of product photography!

This is a photo I really like because of the natural lighting and auxiliary lighting combined in it. You can see the natural lighting coming from the back and the auxiliary lighting coming from the front left side. I love the bokeh and the colors. Once again, the composition makes product photography shine!

This shot was taken with a slow shutter. Slow shutter creates this effect of movement and makes a shot amazing. One thing you’ve got to make sure to do is to fix the object you are shooting, so that it doesn’t blur and have a tripod to set your camera on.
