Photoshoot of men of 1940s

Rexburg Flight Museum

This is a photoshoot that I did in the Rexburg flight museum. Since it was in the flight museum and they have a lot of 1940s era clothing and vehicles, I was able to take pictures of these amazing men. This photoshoot was a special experience for me because I’ve used a lot of different types of lighting. I used Einstein strobes, speed lights, Apollo orbs and different modifiers to make the light softer. It was a cool experience especially because I shot outside with some very cloudy skies and I also shot inside the hanger with auxiliary lighting. We tried to recreate the atmosphere of 1940s and make the men look as much as possible close to that era. The last picture is a picture of the owner of most of the clothing in that flight museum and some other equipment.

I was inspired by some other creators before the shoot. Here’s one of the sites that inspired me: http://www.fubiz.net/en/2016/04/27/1940s-fashion-photography/
